This purpose may be used toward relieving muscle pain or stress, increasing body awareness, or bringing equilibrium to a life crisis. After a massage you experience the active stimulation of the skin, lymph and blood, relaxation of the muscles and nervous system, elimination of metabolic waste and stretching the connective tissue.
It is a healthy way of handling stress.
